Once upon a time there was a couple named Geoff and Louise. They had been married for 15 years and had two young children Jack and Sarah.
Scenario One
When Geoff and Louise got married they did what every sensible couple does and arranged their wills (Mirror Wills) as that is what their solicitor told them was the best thing for them, so they were sorted.
As we know the path of true happiness never runs smoothly and tragically one day on his way to work Geoff is involved in a fatal car accident and is pronounced dead at the scene.
After months of grieving her dead husband Louise decides its time to get back out into the big wide world. She joins the local tennis club – she wants to focus on something to take her mind off being a widow in her forties.
She’s determined to get good at tennis so hires the very young, very fit, extremely good looking tennis coach to give her some personal one on one lessons.
Louise is still a young very attractive woman – and the tennis coach is not backwards in coming forwards, after the fifth lesson in as many weeks, he asked her to join him for coffee in the club house.
Coffee leads to drinks one evening, then dinner another evening, trips to the cinema, walks in the countryside at the weekends, leading to a weekend away at some expensive hotel down on the coast.
Several months later after a whirlwind romance Louise and her young tennis coach were married at the local registry office.
Scenario Two
When Geoff and Louise got married they did what every sensible couple does and arranged their wills (Mirror Wills) as that is what their solicitor told them was the best thing for them, so they were sorted.
As we know the path of true happiness never runs smoothly and tragically one day on her way back from dropping the kids to school Louise is involved in a fatal car accident and is pronounced dead at the scene.
After months of grieving his dead wife and a lengthy period of being off work whilst he adjusted to being a widower and a single dad in his mid forties he realised he didn’t have enough time in his day to look after his kids get them to and from school. There wasn’t enough time to do the food shopping, the cleaning, the cooking, the laundry, something had to change.
Geoff approached an agency to find him a suitable Au- Pair and after interviewing several likely candidates Geoff settled on a beautiful blonde Swedish Lady in her 20’s named Ingrid.
Right from the start Ingrid who lived in made an amazing impression on him, she was great at organising the kids.
He always had a clean ironed shirt ready for him in the morning, his breakfast was always on the table after he’d had his early morning shower.
When he returned from work in the evening – no matter what time it was, she had always prepared him his favourite dinners, his favourite beer was always in the fridge, and after spending time with his children Ingrid organised their homework and got them off to bed.
Geoff and Ingrid became closer and closer over time and after one evening and one bottle of wine too many Ingrid no longer slept in the guest room.
Several months later after a whirlwind romance Geoff and his young Au-Pair were married at the local registry office.
